    The Nest | 2016

The video-installation and performance "The Nest" aims to cooperate with the audience. The installation 2m x 2m was placed in a bar. It was a massage chair draped around in translucent cloth layers with a blue light placed inside. The event started with giving visitors vouchers allowing the access inside. The entry was exclusively for one person. As soon as the spectator entered the space, the blue light was turned off and the entrance was guarded. The person behind the curtain was invisible but he could see around him. Thus he became invisible in the noisy bar full of people. He had the comfort of oasis for himself and it was up to him to take advantage of it. But when he tried to connect with the world via the phone, the blue display light suddenly betrayed him. The video for the installation has a surrealistic character and deals with daily activities that are constantly repeated. Together with Arezoo Ashjae Khameneh
