The minimalist performance "The Walls no.3" was performed during a residental stay in L´EXPO Gallery in Paris. During the residence the local inhabitants were invited to cooperation to bring useless objects of smaller sizes or objects which are broken to give them new life again. Further I kept finding more broken or thrown away objects, which I later washed all one by one in a basin in front of the eyes of coming visitors. The objects were then put into collages every day and replaced, exhibited in the space I was given for the exhibition and there I spent every day changing them minimalistically. This type of manual work was a kind of meditation and inspiration to work on "The Walls"cycle. Then the question arose of the necessity of things, consumerism and also of material barriers.
